TARA ASSOCIATION POISED FOR GROWTH IN 2018

Dec 03, 2017

Rochester, NY – As 2017 comes to an end the TARA Association is poised for growth in the coming year. In September, industry leaders and members from across the country came together in Dallas, TX for the annual meeting to discuss challenges that are facing the truck frame and axle repair industry and to learn about new products, technology and the latest repair procedures throughout the heavy-duty marketplace. “This year’s annual meeting was one of the best we have had. Our program included a number of social events, manufacturer seminars from 3M, Spanesi, Hendrickson, Ingersoll Rand, Hunter Engineering, HD Repair Forum, Grapevine Police Department and tours of K.C.’s Paint Shop and the Peterbilt plant. I wanted to thank everyone that attended and that made the event possible and I am looking forward to building off this year’s success,” stated Bill Hinchcliffe, TARA’s Secretary / Treasurer.

The group also engaged in a strategic planning session aimed at improving the associations reach and membership offerings. “Everyone is really excited about the prospect of growth and the benefits that will bring to the industry and its stakeholders. We have developed new marketing tools that will aid in increasing awareness and have designed educational outreach programs to more closely align with the needs of our members. More information will be shared on these initiatives in the coming weeks and months,” said Brian Fleischman, TARA’s Director of Sales and Marketing.
